We’re making your visit to Pitt as easy as possible for you, but our offer is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Here’s how it works:
We will provide overnight accommodations (cost of room and tax) for you and your parent(s) or guardian(s) for either the night of Sunday, March 3 or Monday, March 4. You are responsible for making your hotel reservation. Please note: this offer is for one room and one night only.

Your credit card will be charged if you do not cancel your hotel reservation by February 27. It will also be charged for incidentals such as room service, movie rentals, etc. Students MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian to stay in the hotel and receive reimbursement. When making hotel reservations, we ask that you please make them in the student’s first and last name.
Buses to campus
Register for the Philadelphia or Greenbelt bus.
You will board the bus to Pitt at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 3 at the Greenbelt Metro Station (5717 Greenbelt Metro Drive), or 10 a.m. on Sunday, March 3 at the Philadelphia Amtrak Station (2955 Market Street and 30th Street Station).
A representative of the University of Pittsburgh, will meet you and your parent(s)/guardian. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Depending on which hotel your reservations were made at, the bus will arrive at the Wyndham Pittsburgh University Center or the Hilton Garden Inn at approximately 4 p.m. on Sunday night. We will provide dinner, a financial aid presentation, and a diversity student organization fair.
Please check out of the Wyndham Pittsburgh University Center or the Hilton Garden Inn the next morning before coming to the program. We will store your bags in the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid during the program.
For the return home, you will depart Pittsburgh at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 4. We will provide box dinners for your return trip.

Per NCAA guidelines, prospective student athletes are not eligible to take advantage of MVP visits, this includes anyone who has arranged a meeting with varsity athletic staff during their visit.
