Visiting campus is one of the best ways to determine which college is right for you. You are invited to an event designed just for high-achieving African American, Hispanic, and Native American students. Like colleges nationwide, the University of Pittsburgh strives to recruit a diverse student population. At Pitt, you’ll find a supportive and inclusive culture in an engaging, urban environment. Our unique student body – combined with incredible academic opportunities – will help you find your fit. If you haven’t applied to Pitt yet, this visit is for you!
Please join us on October 22-23 for our Multicultural Visit Program (MVP). We are so confident you will love Pitt that we will reimburse you for travel expenses.
During your visit, you can expect to learn a lot about everything we have to offer:
- Learn about all of the doors a Pitt education can open for you.
- Pittsburgh is no ordinary college town. See for yourself on city and campus tours with Pitt Pathfinders, our current student tour guides.
- Talk about diversity with senior administrators.
The majority of program events will be held on Monday from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. We hope you will join us on Sunday night for dinner, a bus tour of the city of Pittsburgh, and the chance to submit your Pitt application right on campus (with dessert). Please bring your high school transcript or grade report if you plan to apply while on campus. We’ll waive your application fee if you attend MVP!
Please note: Reservations for this program must be made by October 16. Read the full guidelines for reimbursement before finalizing your travel plans. Students MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian to stay in the hotel and receive reimbursement.
