We hail to Pitt 24/7 – and we offer daily options for you to join in the fun!
There are many ways to put together the Pitt visit that is perfect for you. We encourage you to start with a Presentation and Campus Tour and then explore the other options that are available to you.
In addition to the admissions Presentation and Campus Tour, you have the option to sample a class or visit the academic units that interest you. When you set up your visit in our registration menu, please scroll through all of our offerings for the day and choose each session you want to attend by selecting the time slot. Once you have built your agenda for the day, tap “next” to complete your registration!
And if you are coming to Pittsburgh from out of town, we recommend that you turn your campus visit into a mini-vacation. One of the best parts of student life at Pitt is having this incredible city right outside your residence hall doors – take some time to explore!
Presentation and Campus Tour
We offer admissions presentations at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 2 p.m. every Monday – Friday. Tours begin immediately after presentations at 10 a.m., noon, and 3 p.m. Monday – Friday. We also offer presentations and campus tours on select Saturdays. We recommend you budget about two and a half hours for this visit. To ensure we are offering a Presentation and Campus Tour on the day you’d like to visit campus, please refer to our registration menu.
If you are a graduate level student, please contact the Pitt Trailblazers at email@example.com with your request.
Our Transfer Presentation is designed for students interested in transferring to Pitt from
other institutions. A session is offered every Friday at 12 p.m. An Enrollment
Services Manager will share general information about the University of Pittsburgh
including academic programs, admissions criteria, the admissions process, and
financial aid, as well as answer your questions about Pitt.
Sample a Class
Available weekdays during the fall, spring, and summer terms.
Sit in on a class and get a taste of how great our faculty really are. You do not have to register to sit in on a class, just check the current schedule and report directly to the designated building and room. Most classes are 50 minutes long. If an exam is underway for that class session, we recommend quietly leaving the room.
Each department offers unique programming at various times and these visits are only offered when classes are in session. Please check our Academic Calendar for a complete list of campus closures and refer to our registration menu for the most up to date list of available visit options.
If you would like to arrange a specific academic visit on a time/day that is not listed in our registration menu, please contact the academic department directly to ask about setting up an appointment.
Please note: in the summer months some of the departmental visits are modified – so please refer to the calendar to find the most up to date visit options for the summer.
