We offer 400+ different student organizations, all run via the Student Organization Resource Center.

Trust us when we say that you will find multiple organizations here to suit your interests. And if you want to start something new, all you need is ten of your fellow Panthers and a Pitt staff or faculty advisor to start your own organization.

We have groups focused on academics, like POMS (Pre-Medical Organization for Minority Students). Other groups focus on the arts, such as the famous Heinz Chapel Choir and the Pitt Band. You can represent more than 19,000 Pitt undergraduates through the Student Government Board or get involved in Greek life at Pitt.

Pitt students also serve the community through volunteer and service opportunities. And you can let out some energy after a long day of studying on one of our club and intramural sports teams.

Learning at Pitt takes place both in and out of the classroom and our organizations serve as the center of student involvement and engagement. We can’t wait to have you on campus!
