International Transcript Evaluation - Admissions | University of Pittsburgh
INTERNATIONAL
TRANSCRIPT EVALUATION

If you are applying to the University of Pittsburgh as a transfer student, you are required to submit an official credential evaluation. Freshmen applicants may be required in certain instances to submit an official credential evaluation. These evaluations include all international documents (transcripts, marksheets, certificates, examination results, etc.).

The Office of Admissions and Financial Aid only accepts transcripts evaluations from U.S. accredited evaluation services, including:

Evaluations performed by foreign agencies or your local notary office will not be accepted.

NOTE: Credential evaluations can take up to 4-6 weeks to be received by the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid from the date you submit your evaluation application, so please plan ahead accordingly, considering the application deadlines.

Transcripts from universities in the United States may not require a transcript evaluation. Students must contact pitt.admissions@pitt.edu to request the waiver, and our admissions committee will review and approve the request case by case.
